She is still the worst character still in all of MLP. As a villain she had no reason to hurt others and BE a villain. she just wanted to control others because her friend was being stupid. then she turned into a hero WAY to fast and Twilight pretty much forced her friends to forgive Starlight for what she did. then out of nowhere she is Twilight's reasonable side. Twilight actually stopped listening to her friends to listen to HER. the only good part about Starlight is she is friends with Trixie. I mean end of season 7. Oh a great and ancient evil revives. so what do they do? they make friends with it before a fight breaks out. and even now in Season 8. I'm still not impressed with her. Her real name is Mary Sue, let's just face that fact. I'm not saying that she is the only character with problems. *Cough* Twilight Sparkle. *Cough* But I am saying her problems are boring. solved FAR to fast. she is just Unicorn Twilight Sparkle recolor. she isn't her own character. she feels as if she's a fan character put in as a main character for a fanfic. I know this because I write fanfics. and sure putting your OC in the front WITH the main characters feels awesome and fun. but in the canon stuff that shouldn't be a thing. Plus "Unicorns" by canon lore are not as powerful as Alicorns. yet she is. OP to the max with Starlight. Not a fun character.
